Asbestos is a natural fibrous rock and is categorised into three different types.

  • Crocidolite (blue Asbestos)
  • Amosite (brown colour)
  • Chrysotile (white Asbestos)

There are less common fibrous types and these are:

  • Anthophylite
  • Tremolite
  • Actinolite
