WASTE KING LIMITED, DOING WHAT IT SAYS ON THE TIN
Waste King Limited, waste management specialist based in Hemel Hempstead, enjoyed their busiest month in April 2011, since commencement of the business in 2007. The company aims to reduce landfill and divert 84% which is bench-marked and audited by WRAP (Waste & Resources Action Programme).
Over the course of April 2011, the team recycled and separated:
• 36 tons of glass, bricks and tiles
• 23 tons wood
• 2.6 tons of paper
• Over 9 tons of metal
• Nearly 1 ton of cable and wires
• Over 1300 books
• 1.3 tons of clothes donated to The Salvation Army
• Numerous items of furniture and household items donated to The British Heart Foundation
Waste King specialise in recycling and waste collection for both the domestic and commercial markets. Providing services in Hertfordshire, London and the surrounding counties, the company offers a professional service removing waste, rubbish and unwanted items from houses, gardens, and garages and from offices, shops and building sites.
